Ichibata-san Yakushiji Temple (Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture) will hold a "Summer Vacation Homework Plaza" for children during the summer vacation period.

The Summer Vacation Homework Plaza will open the quiet space of the temple, allowing participants to work on their summer homework and self-study that they bring with them.

We offer an opportunity to create summer vacation memories through time spent studying in a slightly different environment than usual, learning alongside peers who are working hard in the same way, and finally experiencing Zen meditation.

The Temple Becomes a Place for Summer Learning

The venue will be the Goeikado Hall of Ichibata-san Yakushiji Temple's Okazaki Main Hall.

In a calm space, participants will work on their homework and self-study that they bring with them. Because it is an environment different from home or school, you can concentrate more than usual and tackle your respective tasks with a fresh mindset.

Working Together Makes You Try Harder

Summer homework can sometimes be put off when working on it alone. At the Homework Plaza, the presence of peers studying alongside you naturally creates an atmosphere conducive to learning. While participation with friends is welcome, individual participation is also encouraged. You can use this as an opportunity to build summer learning habits while progressing through your homework at your own pace.

For a Special Summer Vacation Memory

Many people may have the image of a temple as a place to visit for worship or events.

With this "Summer Vacation Homework Plaza," we want local children to feel more familiar with the temple, so we are opening it as a place for learning.

By working on homework in a quiet environment different from the usual, and finally experiencing Zen meditation (※), we will help you create special summer vacation memories through time for focused learning and time for calming your mind.
