"Rakuten Fashion" Starts Broadcasting New TV Commercial Featuring Actors Ryo Narita and Kotona Minami

Rakuten Group, Inc. (hereinafter "Rakuten") will begin broadcasting a new TV commercial "Take a peek? Rakuten Fashion edition" for its fashion e-commerce site "Rakuten Fashion", featuring actors Ryo Narita and Kotona Minami, starting on Wednesday, April 8th.

For this campaign, Narita, who has played diverse roles in numerous works and has a career as a model, and Minami, who has appeared in a wide range of media from video works to advertisements, were appointed as the new CM characters. By featuring these two attractive fashion icons whom users will want to emulate, the commercial conveys the exhilaration gained through fashion and the joy of shopping to a broad demographic.

Under the concept of "Take a peek?", the commercial proposes a variety of spring/summer items from the 2,000 brands (Note) handled by "Rakuten Fashion". It is directed from a perspective of peeking into the private space of Narita and Minami, who are deeply engrossed in freely enjoying various tastes of fashion. Through the scenes of the two considering new outfits and showing them off to each other, the commercial expresses the joy of fashion blending into everyday life, the vibrant worldview of spring/summer fashion, and the enjoyable shopping experience at "Rakuten Fashion".
