Rakuten and Japan Badminton Association Launch Exclusive Sale of 2026 National Team Authentic Uniforms on "Rakuten Ichiba"

Rakuten Group, Inc. ('Rakuten') and the Japan Badminton Association ('BAJ') have announced that the 2026 Japan national badminton team authentic uniforms, 'BIRDJAPAN 2026 Authentic Uniform,' are now available for exclusive sale at the 'Japan Badminton Association Official EC Shop' within 'Rakuten SPORTS ZONE' on the online shopping mall 'Rakuten Ichiba.'

This product is an authentic model of the uniforms that will be worn by Japan's national badminton players in the 2026 season. This marks the first time that uniforms worn by the national team have been made available for sale to the public. By offering them exclusively online, the initiative provides an opportunity for badminton fans across the country to feel closer to the national team.

To celebrate the launch, a special campaign will be held where five purchasers will win an autographed board from a national team player through a lottery. Additionally, exclusive content will be released on 'syncSPORTS by Rakuten' and the BAJ official YouTube channel, featuring stories from developers and interviews with players about the comfort and mobility of the uniforms.

Rakuten and BAJ have been working together since June 2025 to sell official merchandise, including products related to the national team 'BIRD JAPAN' and the 'S/J League.' In December 2025, they signed a partnership agreement regarding the EC platform to further promote the appeal of badminton.
