TRIAD, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo / Representative Director: Masayuki Kuramochi) has announced that its second architectural design competition, the 'Visional City Design Competition,' has exceeded 300 entries since the start of registration on April 1, 2026.

This competition aims to solve urban challenges and explore new possibilities through diverse perspectives, including architecture, art, business, and regional design. Reflecting the growing interest in urban and social issues, the competition has received submissions from a wide range of fields and generations.

Entry Profile: The majority of entrants are in their 20s (160 participants), with participants ranging from 10 to 70 years old. Individual entries account for the majority, with 236 entries (approx. 78%). The participants include 143 students and 160 company employees, highlighting interest from a wide range of individuals, from students to working professionals.

Judge Interviews Published: In conjunction with the competition, interviews with the judges are being published sequentially on the official note platform, covering their insights on urban charm, inquiry, and implementation.
