Setting-type Baby Care Room "mamaro" Installed at "Ukiha City Hall West Annex"!

Trim Co., Ltd. (Naka Ward, Yokohama City, President and CEO: Yusuke Hasegawa) has installed the fully private baby care room "mamaroTM" at "Ukiha City Hall West Annex" starting "June 25, 2026 (Thu)".

"mamaro" is a fully private baby care room that can be used for purposes such as breastfeeding, diaper changes, and changing clothes. It is being installed one after another in commercial facilities, train stations, public facilities, and parks across Japan. In December 2025, it achieved 900 units installed and reached a cumulative total of 1.6 million uses.

Trim pursues its mission of "providing a better childcare environment" and promotes product development and installation.

Background of Installation (Comment from Ukiha City Child Future Division)

In April of Reiwa 8 (2026), Ukiha City newly established the Child Future Division and created a kids' space in the City Hall West Annex where parents and children can easily use. However, there was no nursing room on the same floor, and the needs from childcare households were expected to increase. In addition, in recent large-scale disasters, the care environment for breastfeeding mothers and infants in evacuation centers has become an issue. From the perspective of privacy protection and hygiene management, it was determined that it was urgent to develop facilities that could respond to both normal times and emergencies, leading to this introduction.

About Baby Care Room "mamaroTM"

It is a movable, fully private baby care room that can be installed in a space about the size of one tatami mat. In addition to being usable for a wide range of baby care, it is equipped with software that links with a smartphone app to show usage status in real-time and acquire user data.

Since it is a private room with a lock, there are many installation location options, and it can be used by anyone regardless of gender. Therefore, cases of installation as part of D&I and SDGs initiatives are increasing.
