Explore the depths of the world that online searches and fragmented news can never reach.

Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (Fuchu, Tokyo; President: Norio Haruna) will launch 31 language courses across 17 languages, 13 liberal arts courses, and a special lecture theme on 'Easy Japanese' in the summer of 2026.

Led by experts in language, culture, and history, these three-day sessions transform fragmented knowledge into a 'system of wisdom,' providing a clear resolution to decode the complexities of modern society. This is an ideal opportunity for professionals who wish to learn efficiently and fundamentally to accelerate their quest for knowledge.

[Objective] To contribute to the realization of a multicultural society, our university places importance not only on education and research but also on social contribution and collaboration. As part of this, we established the 'TUFS Open Academy' in 2006, providing numerous language and liberal arts courses to the public every year. Online courses were introduced in November 2020.

[Features] In modern Japan, the importance of multilingual learning is increasing. However, true 'multicultural coexistence' requires more than just language acquisition; it demands an understanding of the deep layers of culture, society, and history. Since this program is online, it is accessible to learners regardless of where they reside, whether in Japan or abroad.
