The TV Osaka program "Ossanpo" follows Messenger Kuroda and two guest "ossans" (middle-aged men) as they explore the streets of Osaka. In this episode, Kuroda is joined by legendary mimic Croquette and comedian Daisuke Miyagawa as they stroll through Kaizuka City. The trip begins at Mizumadera, a temple with a 1300-year history, where they visit the "Sacred Waterfall of Kannon's Appearance" and view historical treasures, including a mysterious object that Croquette correctly identifies. The trio then walks around the historic Kaizuka Jinaimachi area. There, Croquette shares his mimicry techniques, effortlessly imitating celebrities like Kazuki Enari and Hiroshi Abe, leaving Kuroda and Miyagawa in stitches. Later, they visit a local farm run by the Nakade brothers to harvest and taste "Mizunasu," a famous Senshu eggplant. The delicious eggplant pickles spark a fierce rock-paper-scissors battle over a 20,000-yen tab. They also stop at an Asian grocery store to try Vietnamese coconut crackers, engaging in another payment battle dominated by Croquette. Finally, at a retro okonomiyaki shop called "New Kakishita," Croquette opens up about his family life, his journey to Tokyo, and his early encounters with famous comedians.
