Nikkei Money and TV Osaka Explo will jointly host the personal investor-focused asset management and IR event, 'Nikkei Money Asset Management & IR Forum in Kansai 2026,' on July 11 (Saturday) and 12 (Sunday), 2026, at Herbis Hall in Umeda, Osaka.

In recent years, rising inflation, soaring stock prices, increasing interest rates, and the expansion of the new NISA system have heightened public interest in asset formation.

This event offers a one-stop opportunity to gather the latest information on asset formation, covering equities, real estate, alternative investments, and IR (investor relations).

Event Highlights

(1) Over 35 exhibitors offering direct consultations

More than 35 institutions, including financial institutions, real estate companies, and financial planners (FPs), will exhibit. Attendees can consult directly with experts, enabling seamless progression from information gathering to concrete planning.

(2) Over 30 practical seminar sessions

Over 30 seminar sessions will be conducted by Nikkei Money columnists and experts across various fields.

Topics include stock investment, market analysis, real estate investment, gold, and more, offering practical knowledge for both beginners and experienced investors.

As a summer vacation special, the event will feature the 'Kids NISA Workshop for Families,' where parents and children learn together.

(4) Special program in collaboration with Osaka Exchange

Featuring an opening speech by Mr. Akira Tagaya, President of Osaka Exchange, and an interactive 'Commodity & Financial Futures Trading Corner' offering a rare glimpse into the world of institutional investors. Osaka Exchange will also exhibit at this corner.

Osaka Exchange is a derivatives-dedicated exchange handling futures and options. In addition to stock index futures/options, government bond futures, and gold, it has recently expanded its range of small-lot products suitable for individual investors. The exhibition offers a perfect opportunity to ask experts questions for free. We encourage individual investors to visit and broaden their trading horizons.

(5) 'The Money Manga Uncle' makes a surprise appearance in the Family Area on July 12 (Sun)

Katsuto Ohguchi, Nikkei Money Editorial Committee member, will appear in the event space in various guises—sometimes as a rakugo storyteller of financial manga, sometimes as a photographer, and sometimes hosting a signing session for his book 'The Money Choices That Will Never Mislead You.'

Nikkei Money Editorial Committee Member – Has read nearly all financial manga

Joined Nikkei Home Publishing (now Nikkei BP) in 1991, assigned to Nikkei Money editorial department, and has served intermittently for over 20 years. Former Editor-in-Chief of Nikkei Money, Head of Financial Reporting at The Nikkei, and Publisher of Nikkei Money. Has researched personal asset formation for over 35 years.

Appears monthly on 'Nikkei Morning Plus FT' (BS Tokyo, weekdays 7:05 AM), hosting the 'Learn Through Manga' segment that deepens understanding of economics and society through manga.

(6) Nikkei Money Back Issues Exhibition Corner

Past issues of Nikkei Money will be on display, including popular supplements.

Excerpts from the editorial feature '40 Years of Nikkei Money' from the 40th-anniversary special issue will be showcased. Discover the financial history of individual investors as seen through the magazine since its 1985 launch.
