We are pleased to announce that Tetsuya Komuro, Representative Director of our subsidiary Pavilions Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo) and SOUND PORT Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo), has participated as a Visiting Senior Researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (RIKEN) in a school song production project utilizing AI technology.

1. Project Overview This project, led by a research team including RIKEN Team Director Masatoshi Hamanaka, produced the school song for "Kuwana City Tado Academy," a combined elementary and junior high school set to open in April 2026 in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, by incorporating AI technology. Mr. Komuro cooperated with this project as a Visiting Senior Researcher at RIKEN, participating in the selection of one song suitable for the school song from four AI-generated candidate songs.

2. Production Process (1) Lyrics Creation An AI model that generates lyrics from keywords was utilized. The process involved repeated cycles of human editing and AI lyric generation to enhance completeness. (2) Composition A system was built to rewrite parts of a song created by a human composer with melodies proposed by AI. Children from Kuwana City used this system to create musical materials. (3) Selection and Finalization The candidates were narrowed down using AI technology from Kyushu University that analyzes the harmony between lyrics and melody. Composers from Tokyo University of the Arts finalized the four candidate songs. Mr. Komuro participated in the final selection of one song suitable for the school song.
