The blockbuster original animation 'Super Kaguya-hime!', directed by Shingo Yamashita and globally streamed on Netflix, has announced its Blu-ray release for September 9, 2026. After achieving massive success with over 1 million theatergoers and 2 billion yen in box office revenue, the film will be available in both standard and special limited editions. Pre-orders are currently open across various e-commerce stores. The limited edition features a newly illustrated cover by character designer Hechima, a special bonus CD with a duet version of 'Reply' by Kaguya and Iroha, and a bonus disc containing a 142-minute cut with additional scenes, alongside character commentary.
