Ceremony Held to Present a Letter of Appreciation for Donation Received Through Tottori Bank's SDGs Private Placement Bonds

The Public University Corporation University of Shimane will hold a ceremony as detailed below to present a letter of appreciation for a donation to the "University of Shimane Mirai Yume Fund" from Marusan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture), made through the "Torikin SDGs Private Placement Bonds: Hometown Future Support Bonds" underwritten by Tottori Bank, Ltd.

This donation is being made to support the development of local communities and the nurturing of next-generation human resources. The University of Shimane will utilize these funds to support student overseas training and study abroad programs, as well as community contribution activities such as student volunteer work.

About the "Torikin SDGs Private Placement Bonds: Hometown Future Support Bonds" Based on the designation of the issuing company, 0.2% of the private placement bond issuance amount is used for donations and gifts made jointly by the issuing company and Tottori Bank, Ltd. to designated medical/welfare facilities, local governments, schools, etc.
