Atami's Umiiro Terrace is building a multi-purpose ocean hall and garden, set to open in autumn 2026, to help guests celebrate life milestones and pursue their dreams.

As a pharmacist for 30 years, having supported many patients in home medical care, I have a deeply ingrained conviction: 'The emotional movement of being moved is the best medicine.' This conviction drove me from the medical industry to the hospitality industry. I opened 'Umiiro Terrace Atami Main Building' in 2020 and the 'Bettei (Villa)' in 2023. Now, I am taking on a new dream: the construction of a 'Multi-purpose Ocean Hall & Garden' on the hills of Atami, overlooking Sagami Bay, to celebrate life's milestones and take steps toward dreams.

### Background of the Dream Before entering the hospitality business, I ran a home medical care pharmacy. While I found meaning in working closely with individuals, the daily reality of saying goodbye to patients with no hope of recovery took a toll on my heart. Seeking a place to find peace, I started visiting Atami every weekend. One day, I bought the current main building as a vacation home. The moment I opened the door, I was captivated by the view of Sagami Bay. I brought patients I had cared for to this place, and they returned home with smiles, having shared a beautiful sunrise. That was when I realized that 'being moved' is the best medicine. I felt I couldn't keep this place to myself; I wanted to share this emotion with more people.

### The Three Stages: Main Building, Villa, and New Wing - 2020: Main Building opened (Healing). - 2023: Villa opened (Joy and Fun). - 2025: Crowdfunding for the New Wing & Garden (Fulfilling Dreams).

### Future Initiatives We are aiming for an autumn 2026 opening. The hall will host weddings, family celebrations, business launches, and art exhibitions. We want to create a cycle where the dreams born here inspire others. As a pharmacist who supported 'the power to live,' I am now connecting that experience to this final stage: a stage to fulfill dreams.
