Narita Airport Hosts "Manga Creation Experience" for Inbound Tourists! Turning Pre-Departure Wait Time into the "Ultimate Japan Experience"

UNIQUE TRAVEL JAPAN, which provides unique travel experiences for inbound tourists, held the "Manga Drawing Experience & Live Drawing" event at Narita Airport Terminal 1 from November 26th to 28th, 2025, in collaboration with Narita International Airport Corporation.

This event was organized with the aim of offering inbound travelers a "special, uniquely Japanese experience" just before their departure, providing an unforgettable experience at the airport as the culmination of their trip to Japan. As a result, many travelers participated daily, and the event was a great success.

At the event, participants experienced inking and applying screentones, techniques unique to analog manga, under the guidance of professional manga artists.

At Narita Airport, we continuously hold events that allow visitors to experience Japanese culture as a way to encourage inbound tourists to "want to visit again." This manga drawing experience was a new challenge, taking a step forward from our previous initiatives that focused mainly on introducing traditional culture. While many have opportunities to read manga, experiencing the drawing process is rare. We are delighted if this event allowed many people to feel the excitement that remains as a travel memory, realizing that such experiences are possible at the airport.
