Fuyumi Sakamoto Celebrates 40th Anniversary with Best-of Album 'Fuyumi Sakamoto 40th Best ~Wodachi~' Out June 10

Universal Music LLC will release Fuyumi Sakamoto's best-of album, "Fuyumi Sakamoto 40th Best ~Wodachi~," on June 10 (Wed).

Enka singer Fuyumi Sakamoto, who is celebrating her 40th debut anniversary, will release this commemorative album on the memorial day of her mentor, composer Kousho Inomata.

The work is themed around the "soul of Enka and the sensibility of Pop," consisting of two discs: Disc 1 (Enka Side) and Disc 2 (POPS Side).

[Disc 1: Enka Side] Includes 16 songs ranging from her debut tracks such as "Abare Daiko," "Iwai-zake," "Yozakura Oshichi," to "Ore de Ii no ka."

[Disc 2: POPS Side] Includes 16 songs that transcend genre boundaries, such as "Mata Kimi ni Koishiteru" and "Buddha no You ni Watashi wa Shinda."

Furthermore, 40th-anniversary commemorative recitals will be held on September 14 (Mon) in Osaka (Festival Hall) and on November 4 (Wed) in Tokyo (Tokyo International Forum Hall A).
