Urbanet Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director, Chairman and CEO: Shinji Hattori) has started accepting artwork entries for the student-only 3D art competition "ART MEETS ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION (AAC2026)" from April 7, 2026.

Our company has been working on creating spaces themed around the fusion of "art and daily life" and "art and architecture" by permanently displaying artworks such as sculptures and paintings in the common areas of the condominiums we develop. As part of this initiative, this competition publicly solicits 3D artworks from students to be installed in the entrance hall of a newly built condominium. Since its start in 2001, it marks its 26th year this year, and is highly evaluated as a gateway to success that has produced many young artists. For students, this is a valuable opportunity to have their work permanently installed in an actual architectural space, making it a practical art competition that serves as their first step as a professional.

What is "AAC"

"ART MEETS ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION (AAC)" is a student-only 3D art competition that started in 2001 with the aim of discovering and nurturing young artists. It has the characteristic of installing 3D artworks in actual housing complexes (condominiums) and has been continuously held as an attempt to connect art and architecture, and people's daily lives.
