UUUM Inc. and UUUM Marketing Inc. have announced the launch of their new office as the 'Japan KOL (Key Opinion Leader) Center.'
This facility serves as a one-stop hub for creators and KOLs, providing shooting and streaming support, talent development, corporate and municipal matching, career guidance, community building, and global expansion assistance.
As the Japanese hub for the 'Asian KOL Center' initiative—promoted by HUUM, a joint venture between Hakuhodo and UUUM—the center will collaborate with the existing Bangkok KOL Center. This partnership will support Japanese KOLs expanding into Asia and international KOLs entering Japan.
Six Functions of the 'Japan KOL Center' The center aims to be a 'guild'—a meeting place where KOLs can find 'quests' (work) and engage in international exchange.
- Shooting and Streaming Support: Fully equipped studios for short-form video, live commerce, and program production. - Creator Development: Systematic training in SNS growth, video production, editing, and e-commerce operation. - Corporate/Municipal Matching: Enables manufacturers, local governments, and agencies to request tie-up offers from KOLs. - Career Support: Dedicated counseling for creators planning their next professional stage. - Community and International Exchange: Creating spaces for cross-genre creator interaction, cross-border collaborations, and joint projects with international KOLs. - Global Expansion Support: Seamless local shooting, distribution development, and PR in coordination with the Thailand KOL Center, plus opportunities for cross-border e-commerce and global live commerce.
Asian KOL Center Coordination The center serves as the Japan hub for HUUM's 'Asian KOL Center' initiative, accelerating global expansion through its collaboration with the Bangkok center.
- Thailand KOL Center (Bangkok): Supports expansion into Southeast Asian markets through local partner networks. - Japan KOL Center (UUUM/UUUM Marketing New Office): Functions as a hub for Japanese KOLs entering overseas markets and a landing site for international KOLs entering Japan.
Additionally, through HUUM's participation in 'X the League'—a global live commerce league and documentary featuring KOLs from eight countries—UUUM Group will utilize this office as a base to support expansion into the Korean market.
