Valeo to Provide Advanced ADAS to Major Indian Automaker

Valeo announced a major milestone as its Valeo Smart Safety 360 (VSS360) system has been selected by a leading Indian OEM to provide advanced driving assistance for commercial vehicles. Specifically designed for the Indian market, this scalable and cost-optimized ADAS solution will be manufactured at a state-of-the-art plant in Sanand, Gujarat. The system integrates crucial features like automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and driver drowsiness alerts. By combining three radars and a smart front camera into a single box without needing separate ECUs, it works on both 12V and 24V architectures. This supports India's upcoming General Safety Regulations (GSR) and enhances road safety.
