VASTLAND Co., Ltd. (Himeji, Hyogo) will release a new pink color for its pedal-attachable kick bike 'Cogumade Bike' on June 13, 2026. Targeting children aged 2-6 (height 85-115 cm), the bike serves dual roles: a kick bike for beginners and a pedal bicycle via an attachable pedal unit. According to Gakken's 2025 Early Childhood White Paper, about 70% of girls aged 4-6 favor pink. VASTLAND selected a skin-flattering tone paired with black handlebars and tires in a sporty two-tone design. The steel-frame bike weighs 6.1 kg in training mode and 7.5 kg in bicycle mode, features caliper and drum brakes, and has passed JIS-standard frame strength tests with a 1-year warranty. Priced at 19,800 yen tax-included, it joins existing tan, olive, and ash blue colors. Matching children's helmets and protector sets are also available.
