Since 2023, our firm has been utilizing its in-house developed on-premise AI system, "Very Best AI," in its legal practice. Our membership in JDLA as a supporting member deeply aligns with JDLA's mission to promote the social implementation of AI technology and foster human resources. We aim to contribute to the association's activities as an advanced case study of AI utilization in the legal industry.

Background of Joining JDLA as a Supporting Member

Recently, the need for AI utilization in law firms has been increasing. However, legal practice involves handling highly confidential information, such as client data and sensitive personal information, making AI utilization that ensures information security indispensable.

To address these challenges, our firm has independently developed and operated "Very Best AI" in an on-premise environment, which does not transmit data to external servers. We decided to join as a supporting member to widely share this experience and knowledge through JDLA's activities and contribute to the sound development of Japan's AI industry.
