Virtualex Deploys AI-Powered Production Scheduler 'TENKEI' at Itoham Yonekyu Plant

Virtualex Consulting Inc. has launched its AI-powered cloud-based production scheduler, 'TENKEI for Production Planning,' at the Kashiwa factory, a core facility of Itoham Yonekyu Plant Inc. This initiative aims to advance production planning and achieve a balance between 'food safety' and 'production efficiency.' Previously, the Kashiwa factory relied on skilled planners who spent significant time creating schedules, leading to concerns regarding reliance on specific individuals and future skill succession. With this implementation, the factory can now achieve freshness-prioritized inventory management, maximized utilization through continuous production, synchronized intermediate and finished goods, and flexible responses to demand fluctuations. Virtualex will continue to support Itoham Yonekyu Plant as a partner in realizing a data-driven 'Smart Factory.'
