Ignition Point Venture Partners (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuki Tashiro; hereinafter 'IGP-VP') has invested in Sally (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Eitaro Hiraishi; hereinafter 'Sally') through the JFR MIRAI CREATORS Fund, co-managed with J. Front Retailing (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Keiichi Ono).
The 'Murder Mystery' (or 'Mada-misu') experience game provided by Sally has seen enduring popularity in China, particularly among Gen Z, and is expanding in Japan as a new form of experiential entertainment among Gen Z and MZ generations. Sally develops and operates the 'UZU' platform, which connects players and creators, offering a comprehensive portal, voice-call apps, and scenario creation tools for writers.
Guided by the JFR Group vision of 'Inventing new happiness for life,' the fund seeks to enhance customer engagement with next-generation audiences and develop IP content. They decided to invest based on the innovation of Sally's platform and its strong appeal to Gen Z and MZ generations.
Comment from Eitaro Hiraishi, President & CEO of Sally:
'Thank you for the investment from JFR MIRAI CREATORS Fund. Sally's commitment to real-world experience entertainment was sparked by the success of our event 'Toyakujiraku' at Ikebukuro PARCO in April-May 2025, which sold out and received high acclaim. I am deeply grateful to the PARCO GAMES team for helping bring this project to life. Continuing our collaboration with 'Mikkyouyusou' at Ikebukuro PARCO in November-December 2025, I am convinced of the significant potential in implementing narratives within city environments. We are currently working on several projects with unique approaches. With this investment, I look forward to deeper collaboration with the J. Front Retailing Group and PARCO GAMES. Together, we will create new experiential entertainment centered on Murder Mystery.'
