An animal general hospital (Location: 815 Ishigami, Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, Director: Shinichi Kanazono) implemented an awareness campaign linking SNS and real-life events at the community dog event "Inu no Matsuri in Soka" held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in Soka City.

While "blood transfusion" is an essential treatment for saving lives in veterinary medicine, the absence of a public blood bank has consistently led to a severe shortage of donors. Our hospital believes that expanding awareness of the "donor system," which relies on mutual assistance among pet owners, is urgently needed to save even more lives. We conducted this initiative by linking health checks at the venue with our official Instagram account, disseminating information through both online and offline channels. Booth Appearance ①

Awareness Campaign Linking SNS and Real Events At this event, our hospital conducted an awareness campaign that linked activities at the venue with information dissemination on our official Instagram account.

On the day of the event, we provided real-time updates on the health check process and introduced participating dogs and cats. This allowed us to share the activities with those who could not attend the venue, demonstrating the effectiveness of information dissemination that combines online and offline approaches. ■ Approximately 40 Dogs and Cats Participated in Health Checks

At our booth, veterinarians conducted simple health checks. We checked Body Condition Score (BCS) and performed oral examinations, with approximately 40 dogs and cats participating. Furthermore, between health checks and in front of the booth, we explained our hospital's blood donor system for dogs and cats, aiming to increase understanding of the necessity of transfusion medicine and the mechanism of donor registration.
