Vstone's research mobile robot series serves as a versatile platform for various R&D applications. The company has now begun offering a free ROS 2-compatible sample package for its existing "Depth Camera Option."

### (1) RGB Images with Depth Information / Standard Camera Stay Included

The depth camera option utilizes the Intel® RealSense™ D435i. It can simultaneously capture RGB images, depth information, and acceleration/angular velocity data from the IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). The option also includes a "Camera Stay Option" as standard, allowing the camera to be fixed at any height up to 265mm from the robot's top plate, with adjustable angles.

### (2) ROS 2 Compatible Sample Package

A sample package compatible with Vstone's research mobile robots is included for free (available on GitHub). It supports ROS 2, enabling the following functions:

- 3D Map Generation (SLAM) using RTAB-Map - Autonomous Navigation using Navigation2 (Nav2)

### (3) Application for Autonomous Robot Control

By utilizing this option, users can enhance robot control for various applications, including indoor map generation, validation of autonomous navigation technologies, and prototyping of autonomous mobile robots in the logistics sector.
