July 10, 2026
The social business community "Waccel" (headquartered in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo; hosted by Yoshihiro Shimamura, General Producer: Tomoaki Sumitani), in collaboration with Daichi Yora (Representative Director of Chakraglass Co., Ltd. https://chakraglass.tokyo), will host a special event featuring Ayurveda practitioner MOTOKO. To commemorate the publication of her new book "Everyday Ayurveda Soup" (Wani Books), the "Daily Ayurveda: Practical Special Seminar" will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at La Collezione in Omotesando, Tokyo.
This event, themed "Eat, Feel, and Harmonize," is a special seminar that allows participants to experience Ayurveda—the 5,000-year-old traditional Indian medicine—not just as knowledge, but as a lived practice.
Amid rising concerns over poor sleep quality, chronic fatigue, and stress-related physical and mental imbalances, this seminar offers insights into rediscovering one’s authentic self by reevaluating daily habits such as eating, sleeping, and self-care.
"Rejuvenation" means returning to your true self.
The newly published "Everyday Ayurveda Soup" focuses not on complex theories, but on naturally harmonizing body and mind through daily meals.
At the event, participants will taste three types of Ayurvedic soups introduced in the book, while experiencing practical methods such as:
- Living each day without being overwhelmed by fatigue - Creating a lifestyle that harmonizes mind and body - Practicing self-care through food - Developing habits for a lighter, more balanced life
These are all actionable practices anyone can start today.
Special Dialogue with Psychiatrist Dr. Shunji Nishiwaki
Special guest Dr. Shunji Nishiwaki, a psychiatrist, certified mental health physician, and Director at Chakraglass Co., Ltd., will take the stage.
Theme:
"Toxins and Disease from an Ayurvedic Perspective"
He will clearly explain modern mental and physical imbalances from both Western medicine and Ayurveda viewpoints.
This is a rare dialogue where modern and traditional medicine converge.
Talk Session with Medicinal Cuisine and Spice Chef Mariko Harada
Mariko Harada, a medicinal cuisine and spice chef and Ayurvedic lifestyle consultant, will also speak.
Under the theme "Daily Soup: Delicious Benefits," she will introduce practical ways to incorporate spices and Ayurvedic meals into everyday dining without strain.
A Sensory, Experiential Event
The event features:
- Special lecture by MOTOKO - Special dialogue with psychiatrist Dr. Shunji Nishiwaki - Talk session with Mariko Harada - Tasting of three Ayurvedic soups - Limited on-site sale of signed books (publication commemoration)
This is not just a lecture-based event—it’s a full sensory experience.
Additionally, free live streaming and archived viewing will be available online, allowing participation from anywhere in Japan.
MOTOKO’s Message
"Rejuvenation" is not just about appearance.
It’s about returning to your true self.
Regaining lightness.
Living with peace of mind and joy.
Please join us and experience this gateway together.
