From July 2 to 12, Seiko House Hall will host the 'Glass and Ceramics Exhibition by Five Artists - Playing in the Silence.' This exhibition features cooling glass and ceramic works by five artists: Mikiko Nakano, Jun Matsumura, Yuko Watanabe (glass), and Mayumi Hamano, Kiyoko Morioka (ceramics). Nakano creates delicate glass vessels with plant motifs. Matsumura layers glass to evoke nostalgic scenes. Watanabe combines colored glass canes to create watercolor-like worlds. Hamano reflects a soft expression on her ceramics through blue-and-white and red painting inspired by old Imari. Morioka expresses a serene world of white and gray through neat forms and polished textures. Artworks will be sold by lottery. Applications are accepted in person on July 2 (11:00-19:00) and July 3 (11:00-14:00). Each person can apply for up to two items per artist, and purchase is limited to one item per artist. Unsold items will be available for general sale from 17:00 on July 3.
