WAQ Inc. (CEO: Narito Saeki), which operates the outdoor brand 'WAQ', released new models of its all-weather folding umbrella, 'WAQ Field Umbrella', on May 25, 2026. The 'WAQ Field Umbrella' is an outdoor-quality umbrella made with tent fabric. Last year's model sold out 3,000 units within one month of release. This year, it has been updated to be available in two sizes, Regular and Large, and three colors: Coyote, Charcoal, and Gray. It features high light-shielding performance with 100% light blocking, 100% UV protection, and UPF50+. With a water resistance of 2,000mm and a water-repellent rating of 4, it can handle sudden rain. It also features an automatic opening/closing mechanism, making it convenient for commuting, shopping, and outdoor activities.
