Currently, due to Japan's aging population, 'hidden assets'—items that are still usable but dormant in homes—are increasing, estimated at approximately 66 trillion yen. However, transactions by reuse businesses only amount to about 3 trillion yen annually. WASABI is addressing this by promoting the 'WASABI SWITCH' system, which removes barriers like language and logistics to allow simultaneous sales expansion to over 30 malls.
