Supporting Global Sales Channel Expansion for Cross-Border EC: Wasabi Co., Ltd. Strengthens Linkage with Major Overseas EC Malls | Accelerating Overseas Expansion of Reuse Businesses

Wasabi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; CEO: Hiroshi Okubo; hereinafter "Wasabi") has strengthened its linkage system with major overseas EC malls in its reuse-specialized EC unified management system "WASABI SWITCH," thereby expanding its cross-border sales support for reuse businesses.

Background and Purpose

Recently, driven by growing interest in sustainability, overseas demand for Japanese domestic products and reused goods has been rapidly increasing.

Under these circumstances, "WASABI SWITCH" was designed from the beginning of its service specifically for cross-border EC. Currently, it has built an extensive network including 17 domestic malls and 20 overseas malls (*1). We are deploying solutions that realize overseas sales as a one-stop service.

In addition, through partnerships with overseas EC malls and related businesses, we are engaged in information sharing and network building via community projects and conferences. Most recently, we are scheduled to hold a co-hosted event with eBay on April 24, 2026, further advancing the strengthening of our collaboration in the cross-border EC domain.

In our community business "Reuse University," we invite representatives from various marketplaces to hold special seminars. At our annual conference, we have EC mall representatives take the stage to speak about the characteristics and strategies of their malls.

Through these initiatives, we comprehensively support businesses. We conduct hearings to grasp business characteristics and propose optimal mall selections and cross-border sales strategies, enabling businesses to strategically and effectively expand their sales channels by choosing the most suitable malls according to their own strengths.
