Watami Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "the Company"), a subsidiary of Watami Co., Ltd. (Ota-ku, Tokyo), began supplying electricity in the Shikoku Electric Power area on March 1, 2026. This expansion enables the Company to provide power across the entire country, excluding the Okinawa Electric Power area, further strengthening its supply infrastructure.

Significance of Launching Supply in the Shikoku Area Previously, the Company provided electricity nationwide, with the exception of the Okinawa and Shikoku Electric Power areas. With this expansion into the Shikoku area, the Company can now provide renewable energy-derived electricity across the entire country (excluding Okinawa). This allows the Company to offer consistent renewable energy introduction proposals to businesses with locations nationwide, spanning across different regional power grids. ■ Building a Power Supply System to Support RE100 Promotion As international demand for renewable energy usage, such as RE100, continues to rise, the ability to "introduce renewable energy under the same conditions anywhere in the country" has become a critical factor for businesses. With this expansion, the Company has established a system to more effectively support corporate RE100 achievement and decarbonized management. Furthermore, it facilitates the introduction of renewable energy to Watami Group facilities nationwide, further advancing the Group's own RE100 goals. ■ Future Outlook Guided by the Group philosophy of "leaving a beautiful earth for our children," the Company is committed to realizing a decarbonized society through the widespread adoption of renewable energy. We will continue to work with businesses and local communities to build a sustainable society by strengthening our supply system and creating environmental value. ※① About RE100 "RE100" is a global initiative bringing together the world's most influential businesses committed to 100% renewable electricity.
