Through Running, Clean Water to the World. Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026 Charity Donations and Charity Runner Entries Now Open.

Starting April 15th (Wed) at 11:00 AM, applications for donations and charity runners have opened for the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026 Charity. We are seeking individuals who wish to contribute to solving global water and sanitation issues alongside WaterAid. The support received through the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026 Charity will be used for WaterAid's water and sanitation projects in 22 countries worldwide. Specifically, these donations will primarily fund water and sanitation initiatives in Cambodia and awareness activities within Japan. Running as a charity runner and supporting WaterAid's activities will contribute to realizing a world where everyone has access to clean water safely. How to Participate: 1. Apply for Donation and Participate as a Charity Runner: You can participate as a 'Charity Runner' by making a donation and running in the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026 Charity, thereby spreading awareness of the charity's mission. WaterAid Charity Runner Application Guidelines: Application Period: April 15, 2026 (Wed) 11:00 – May 11 (Mon) 17:00. Number of Applicants: 38 people (first-come, first-served basis). Donation Amount: ¥50,000 or more per entry slot. Participation Fee: In addition to the donation, a separate race participation fee (¥13,200) is required.
