The Japanese Standards Association (JSA) will publish the July 2026 edition of the JIS Handbooks on July 24, 2026, and is currently accepting pre-orders. In July, 36 types of Japanese and English versions are scheduled to be released. The JIS Handbooks consolidate key JIS standards by field into single volumes, and electronic viewing with multi-user licenses is also available. Additionally, JSA is introducing new books such as 'General Theory of Standardization: Basic Knowledge for Business Strategy' and 'New Standardization Strategy: Creating Markets by Setting Rules.' These books redefine standardization not merely as technical specifications but as an active management strategy to dominate markets, featuring success stories from companies like Yamato Transport and Trim Co., Ltd.
