Valtech (HQ: Shinjuku, Tokyo), provider of the cloud PBX 'MOT/TEL' used by over 33,000 companies, has released five new features for its 'MOT Attendance Management' system to further streamline corporate labor management.

Faced with severe labor shortages, customer harassment (kasuhara), and the need for work-style reform, corporate labor environments are undergoing significant changes. Consequently, there is an increasing demand for advanced, DX-driven attendance management to reduce administrative burdens.

This update introduces automated clock-out using facial recognition, alongside improvements in notification systems, break scheduling, and paid leave management, aiming to prevent missed clock-ins and strengthen labor compliance.

Main Update Content:

1. Facial Recognition Automated Clock-Out: Clock-out times can now be automatically set based on the final facial recognition timestamp. By linking facial recognition with door access systems, companies can ensure security and streamline management by integrating access and attendance records.

2. Flexible Attendance Alerts: Enhancing existing notifications via integration with 'MOT/TEL,' administrators can now customize the method, destination, and frequency of notifications for missed clock-ins, allowing for configurations tailored to specific company rules.

3. Support for Post-Cutoff Clock-Outs: The system now allows clock-outs after the designated cutoff time via PC or smartphone, supporting diverse work schedules like night shifts.

4. Enhanced Automatic Break Input: Users can now register up to three sets of automatic break time settings, reducing configuration workload and entry errors for various work patterns.

5. Improved Automatic Paid Leave Granting: For proportional granting, conditions for '5 or more days per week' can now be set, allowing for flexible management aligned with company rules.

'MOT Attendance Management' continues to drive corporate back-office DX as a cloud-based system leveraging facial recognition technology.
