[CIBONE] Designer Visit & Talk Event with Jo Nagasaka: PIET HEIN EEK Exhibition at CIBONE (Omotesando)

Starting June 19 (Fri), CIBONE (Omotesando) will host an exhibition for the Dutch interior brand PIET HEIN EEK. Piet Hein Eek is a Dutch interior designer known for creating unique furniture by repurposing scrap wood and industrial waste, giving these materials new value. His creative process is rooted in a fascination with materials, viewing their history and imperfections with a positive, gentle perspective. This exhibition focuses on cabinets, which are central to his work and were the subject of his graduation project at the Design Academy Eindhoven 35 years ago. In addition to new pieces, the exhibition will feature one of only ten cupboards produced 35 years ago. On the opening day, June 19 (Fri), a reception will be held at 6:00 PM, followed by a talk event with architect Jo Nagasaka at 7:00 PM.
