MMORPG 'Legend of Ymir' Launches Season 3 'Season of Competition'! Ranking Event with Razer's Latest Devices Also Begins

WEMADE Co., Ltd. (CEO Park, Kwan Ho; hereinafter WEMADE) has implemented a major update for its Unreal Engine 5-powered MMORPG 'Legend of Ymir (Legend of YMIR)', launching Season 3 'Season of Competition' on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

This update introduces a variety of competitive-themed new features, including a new system that grants powerful buffs based on season content completion, a new seasonal raid 'Wrathful Crystal: Lauval', a seasonal named boss 'Flame Giant Balzagruz', and exclusive equipment 'Frotti' available only to top-ranking players.

Season 3 'Season of Competition' Begins

This season focuses on 'competition' among players through various content. By enjoying season content and collecting 'Flames of Competition', players unlock powerful buffs—up to +100% maximum experience and +15% item drop rate across all regions. Additional PvP-focused damage reduction buffs are available in conflict zones. As the first user-requested improvement, the weekly exchange limit for Story Decks in the shop has been completely removed.

New Raid and Seasonal Named Boss Added

The new seasonal raid 'Wrathful Crystal: Lauval', which requires disabling mind-control mechanics, and the seasonal named boss 'Flame Giant Balzagruz', appearing across the continent, have been added. Clearing these contents offers chances to obtain season-limited summons (Valkyrie, Deasil, Buddy) and exclusive Story Decks.

'Frotti'—Exclusive Reward for the Ultimate Competitors

Players who dominate season content receive an overwhelming ranking buff of '+20% PvP Skill Damage'. Additionally, 'Frotti', the season's sole exclusive equipment for a dedicated slot, can now be crafted, serving as a prestigious symbol of competitive excellence.

Collaboration Event 'SEASON CHAMPIONS × RAZER GEAR UP' Launches

To celebrate the launch of the Season of Competition, WEMADE is hosting a collaboration event 'SEASON CHAMPIONS × RAZER GEAR UP', offering the latest Razer devices to top-ranking players. The event runs from July 14 to September 8, 2026. Players who rank in the top 10 of the Season of Competition leaderboard on any server become eligible for a Razer device lottery.

Eligibility requires meeting all three conditions: (1) participation in the Season of Competition, (2) ranking within the top 10 on the season leaderboard per server, and (3) character level 60 or above. On September 8, during the update maintenance, the top 10 rankings per server will be finalized, and winners will be selected via lottery from eligible players, with further details to be announced after internal verification.

Prizes include: 1st place (1 winner) 'RAZER HUNTSMAN V3 PRO TKL 8KHZ (ESPORTS GREEN)', 2nd place (1 winner) 'RAZER VIPER V3 PRO', and 3rd place (1 winner) 'RAZER BARRACUDA X CHROMA', all including special in-game rewards. Additionally, 100 winners of the 4th prize tier will receive exclusive in-game rewards.

New Players Can Still Join—High-Speed Growth Server 'Bootcamp' Now Live

The limited-time, high-speed growth server 'Bootcamp' opened on June 30 remains active. Designed for new and returning players, but open to all, this server allows equal character creation for everyone. It features up to 300% hunting experience boost (up to level 60), grants four Epic-grade summons (Valkyrie, Deasil, Air Buddy, Ground Buddy), and a full set of Hero-grade equipment—enabling players to experience Ymir’s core content at maximum speed with minimal entry barriers. At season end, characters can be transferred to the main server for free, making it the ideal starting point for new adventurers entering the Ymir continent.

Limited-Time Events Launched

To commemorate this update, multiple limited-time events are running to support rapid player progression. These include the '20-Day Fierce Attendance' login event offering luxurious rewards, a 'Mission Event' where completing various tasks like Sigurun's Legendary Support Quests or Clan Support Quests grants season-limited items, and the 'Season Individual Ranking Event' to prove one’s in-season strength.
