Award-Winning Products from the 4th Setouchi Omiyage Grand Prix to be Released!

The JR West Group has been holding the 'Setouchi Omiyage Grand Prix' three times in the past to improve regional charm through the development of new souvenirs as part of the 'Furusato Okoshi Project,' which finds regional 'good things' and transmits the appeal of the Okayama/Bingo area nationwide.

From the 3rd event, the target was expanded to all of Hiroshima and Yamaguchi Prefectures. For the 4th event, with the cooperation of the JR Shikoku Group, the area was expanded to Shikoku, and the 'Delivering the Region: Setouchi Omiyage Grand Prix' was held on May 14, 2026. We are pleased to announce the start of sales for 14 products from 14 businesses certified as Grand Prix and Semi-Grand Prix winning products under the 'Setouchi OMIYAGE SELECTION' brand.

- Grand Prix: 'Setouchi Nori Cheese Pie' A new pie confectionery using seaweed from Setouchi/Hiroshima. Baked with a cream cheese-style bean paste filling inside and topped with toasted seaweed. The seaweed is carefully cultivated in the Setouchi Sea from the seeding stage. This sweet and salty treat adds sweetness to the popular 'Cheese & Seaweed' combination.

- Semi-Grand Prix: 'Setouchi Le Mont Blanc' A fusion of Setouchi lemon acidity, domestic chestnut sweetness, and Kochi Earl Grey tea made with Shimanto tea and Umaji bergamot.

- Semi-Grand Prix: 'setouchi voron' A polvoron cookie combining Okayama matcha, Miyajima honey, and Wasanbon sugar with a melt-in-the-mouth texture.

- Special Awards: 'Hoshi Fruit Yumehoppe Biyori': A manju bun using 'Yumehoppe' citrus from Yamaguchi. 'Setouchi Meisan Monogatari Tabiiro Sable': Sables with 7 flavors representing materials from the 7 Setouchi prefectures. 'Torokeru Lemon Financier': A moist financier using Setouchi lemons and Okayama wheat.

- STU48 Award: 'Sanuki Hatsukoi Lemon Udon' Blue udon noodles made with Kagawa-exclusive wheat, topped with a Setouchi lemon jelly for a refreshing flavor.
