Exhibited Product: Liquid Lens RYUGU

Features: Conventional lenses are mostly made of glass, but plastic is used in applications where lightness is required. These lenses are solid and cannot have their power or refractive index changed arbitrarily later. Our RYUGU lens is composed of a liquid, and by applying an electrical signal from outside, its power and magnification can be changed arbitrarily. Because it uses liquid and electrical signals, the speed of change is extremely fast at 15ms (1ms is 1/1000th of a second).

Future Outlook We will continue to enhance peripheral control software and make further efforts to improve and refine the product. We propose integrating RYUGU into cameras and equipment used for visual inspection of products at customer factories.
