Solo Exhibition 'extra' by Osamu Sakuma, Founder of Publishing Label Rondade, Held at Kanda-Kinshicho 1-1-6

From Saturday, June 20, 2026, the solo exhibition 'extra' by Osamu Sakuma, founder of the publishing label Rondade, will be held. This exhibition is an attempt to reinterpret and expand the significance of a graphic gallery by taking a broader perspective on graphic design and its definitions.

The venue will feature a spatial installation utilizing the entire gallery space. Books published by the Rondade publishing label will also be available for sale.

＜Concept＞

My central interest always lies in how to handle blank spaces and voids, and how to continuously renew surplus—by drawing out moments where forms and thoughts, before becoming fixed, slide into new states while forming connections, and in doing so, discover new relationships that propel leaps toward alternative forms or new points as guides (thoughts).

Sakuma Osamu | Sakuma Osamu

Founded Rondade with the aim of returning to the initial impulse of creation across various art forms, and materializing them in forms and methods unbound by conventional frameworks. Publishes art books and photo books. His activities span spatial direction, art book curation, and more.
