WorkX held a free MeetUp on May 22nd (Friday) focused on AI and data utilization. During the event, Iwano, a data scientist from WorkX's AI and data-specialized consulting division 'LeanDataX,' presented on the 'correct methods for data utilization (collection, cleansing, and management)' essential for maximizing generative AI, using real-world case studies. While interest in organizational analysis and strategic proposals using generative AI is rising, many engineers and DX managers are struggling with the burden of data formatting and preprocessing, which hinders actual AI implementation. This event was organized to provide practical breakthroughs for business professionals overwhelmed by data 'tasks.' Participants included engineers, data scientists, and DX managers in their 20s to 40s, who gathered to collect information on the latest AI trends and engage in business networking. In the first session, the importance of 'unstructured data,' such as internal chat logs and emails, was explained from the perspective of a data scientist. In the middle session, the ZL Unified Archive by ZL Technologies, a product adopted by global mega-banks requiring strict security, was introduced. The presentation covered the workflow of searching and extracting necessary data from reliable, immutable primary information (such as log data) and integrating it into an analysis platform. After the seminar, a networking session was held with light refreshments. From 'engineer-specific' struggles to career discussions for data scientists, participants and speakers engaged in open and lively conversations. Being a Friday night, the event was both homey and filled with the energy of professionals passionate about future business and technology.
