Ran Ito's 2026 'Dance on! Love on!' Tokyo Concert to be Exclusively Broadcast and Streamed on WOWOW in August

Ran Ito, celebrating the 7th anniversary of her solo career, brings us the Tokyo performance from her hall tour which began on April 4th, the anniversary of the legendary breakup of Candies, spanning 9 performances across 6 cities.

Ran, affectionately known as 'Ran-chan', was a member of the iconic 1970s idol group Candies. Following the group's breakup in 1978, she became a successful actress in film, drama, and theater. In 2019, 41 years after the Candies breakup, she debuted as a solo singer and has been actively releasing albums and touring.

She is currently holding the 'Concert Tour 2026 Dance on! Love on!' across 6 cities. WOWOW will broadcast the performance from May 31st at SGC HALL ARIAKE in Tokyo. Titled after her new song 'Dance on! Love on!' released in January, the performance includes tracks from her new album 'Bright on' (released April 1st) and classic Candies songs. The Tokyo performance is particularly special, allowing traditional paper-tape cheering and featuring Shuri as a special guest.
