Oda said, 'I can hit the ball where I want on clay, and it's very easy to play. I want to play like myself and win this year.' Meanwhile, Kamiji expressed her enthusiasm, saying, 'I changed to a new racket model, so I haven't quite grasped the feel yet and there are parts where I'm not playing as I'd like, but I want to fight aggressively without fear of failure.'
