NAMJATOWN, an indoor theme park planned and produced by Bandai Namco Experience Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroshi Kawasaki), located in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, will celebrate its 30th anniversary on July 6, 2026.

Opened on July 6, 1996, Namjatown has operated as an urban theme park under the concept of a "park of memories and excitement." It has provided various forms of entertainment, including street-exploration attractions like "Namja Visa Plus" and "Namja Detective Team," ride-type attractions like "Burst! Mosquito Combat," and the pioneering food theme park "Namja Gyoza Stadium." In recent years, it has focused on IP collaboration events.

To mark its 30th anniversary, the park will undergo major renovations. This includes redesigning the entrance and introducing new attractions utilizing Bandai Namco Group's IPs, including "Taiko no Tatsujin" and "Tamagotchi."

◆ Major Entrance Renovation In conjunction with the 30th anniversary on July 6, 2026, the Namjatown entrance will be renovated. The design will be changed to an open layout, allowing visitors to Sunshine City to intuitively feel the park's atmosphere and vibrancy.

◆ "Taiko no Tatsujin" Attraction: "Taiko no Tatsujin: Don to Dekkai Omatsuri da Don" On July 6, 2026, a new "Taiko no Tatsujin" attraction will launch. ◆ "Tamagotchi" Attraction: "Minna de Kenkyu! Cho Tamagotchi Lab" Coming around winter 2026, a collaboration attraction with "Tamagotchi" will launch. "Minna de Kenkyu! Cho Tamagotchi Lab" is a new attraction based on "Tamagotchi Paradise," released in 2025.
