Four New 'Handy Fan' Models Released to Suit Different Lifestyles

Yamada Holdings Corporation is launching four new portable fan models under its original brand sub-label 'RIAIR' on May 25, 2026. These products will be sold at Yamada Denki, Best Denki, and Matsuya Denki stores nationwide (excluding some locations), as well as on the Yamada Webcom e-commerce site. The fans are designed to support heat relief during commutes, travel, and outdoor activities this summer.

1. Umbrella Fan This fan attaches to standard sun or rain umbrellas (supporting shafts with diameters of 7–12 mm), allowing users to keep their hands free. It features a semi-solid battery, significantly reducing risks of unexpected battery failures, leakage, or ignition compared to conventional liquid-type batteries.

2. Handy Fan Features counter-rotating dual fans to deliver direct, linear airflow. Comes with a neck strap and carabiner for portability. Equipped with a 3000 mAh battery allowing up to 15 hours of continuous operation. Available in gray and white.

3. Neck Fan A wearable hands-free design suitable for daily activities like smartphone use, carrying luggage, or outdoor tasks.

4. Neck Cooler Fan Features a cooler function utilizing a Peltier element on the central cooling plate to reduce temperature below ambient levels. Includes a digital display to check battery level and fan speed, suitable for outdoor work and leisure.
