Background and Key Points of Renewal
Hot pot dishes are enjoyed not only with family and friends but also in diverse ways, such as easily enjoyed by small groups or individuals. Furthermore, ways of enjoying hot pot, meticulously prepared with dashi and seasoning, from the ingredients to the finishing touches, are also expanding.
Amidst this, hot pot broths are increasingly required not only for their complete flavor but also for their flexibility to be adjusted according to the number of people eating and their preferences. A survey conducted before its launch (※) revealed that approximately 90% of consumers responded that they have felt the need to "adjust the quantity or concentration" of commercially available hot pot broths, indicating a demand for enjoying hot pot with one's preferred taste.
YAMAKI focused on these needs and launched the granulated hot pot broth base "Sat-to Nabe®" series in 2025, which allows for easy adjustment of the quantity and concentration of hot pot broth simply by "adding it quickly."
This time, to communicate the product's features more clearly to a wider range of consumers, the package design has been renewed to enhance visibility and information delivery. The new package prominently displays the key selling point "Quantity and Concentration Freely Adjustable" and has been redesigned to convey its usability in dishes other than hot pot. Furthermore, by making the "Sat-to Nabe®" logo into a character, we aim to enhance its approachable image and improve visibility.
Additionally, a "hook hole" has been added this time to accommodate hanging displays.

About the "Sat-to Nabe®" Series

For Hot Pot and Everyday Cooking. Expanding Arrangement Menus for Wider Use
The "Sat-to Nabe®" series can be used not only for hot pot dishes but also for seasoning everyday meals such as udon, fried rice, and pasta. "Sat-to Nabe® Yose Nabe no Moto 60g" is recommended for dashi-flavored udon, stir-fried vegetables, and Japanese-style pasta, while "Sat-to Nabe® Tori Shio Nabe no Moto 60g" is recommended for chicken salt udon, chicken salt fried rice, and samgyetang-style soup.
To make the uses other than hot pot clearer, we will also propose new arrangement menus for soups, such as Japanese-style pot-au-feu, glass noodle soup, boiled dumpling soup, and egg soup.
