This Summer, "Love English More"! Challenge English Fun with Sanrio Characters in Two Courses! We Act! Holds "Summer Course"!

Sanrio Entertaining Co., Ltd. (Tokyo, Chuo-ku), a joint venture between the comprehensive education service company Yaruki Switch Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, Yaruki Switch Group) and Sanrio Co., Ltd., will hold its limited-time summer special curriculum "Summer Course" from Wednesday, July 1st to Wednesday, September 30th at "We Act!", an edutainment* English conversation school operated by the company.

Features of the Summer Course

"We Act!" is a school where students can acquire authentic English skills and expressiveness by performing in English while having fun. This Summer Course offers two courses: "Musical Academy," where children learn English through songs, dance, and lines, and "Expression Academy," where they can develop the ability to speak in phrases. Sanrio characters appear in the lessons for both courses, allowing children to naturally acquire English skills and expressiveness while enjoying themselves.

Musical Academy

1. Special 4 Days of Learning English Through Music Like Play

Four days of learning English through songs, dance, and lines (70 minutes per lesson). This summer's theme is "Sports." Children can naturally improve their English skills and expressiveness while enjoying their favorite "songs." Let's work together to clear the missions given! Sanrio characters and instructors will also support your child's challenge, so anyone can participate with peace of mind.

New Course Opening This Summer! Expression Academy

1. Increase Expressions and Speak More! Lessons to Unleash Creativity

Two days of lessons (70 minutes per lesson) based on stories that also appear in We Act!'s main courses (regular lessons). We offer five themes that will spark children's curiosity, such as "Why are shadows made?" Multiple enrollments are possible. Think of a scene from your own original story, practice the lines, and film the performance. You will acquire the ability to speak in phrases, not just words.

Let's practice conversations useful in daily life from the stories! By grasping the flow of conversation through video and imagining situations where they will actually use it, children will acquire practical English skills by using applicable words and phrases.

【Day 2】Have Conversations with Your Own Ideas

Let's practice the conversations we focused on in Day 1 while exchanging opinions with everyone! By practicing using words they choose themselves while imagining real situations, they will develop the ability to "think for themselves and speak in English."

We Act! (We Act!)

"We Act!" is an edutainment* English conversation school operated by "Sanrio Entertaining Co., Ltd.," a joint venture between Yaruki Switch Group and Sanrio. Within immersive classrooms modeled after film production studios, each lesson is provided in a manner analogous to filmmaking. In sets of four weeks comprising "audition," "dubbing," "rehearsal," and "final shooting/preview screening," one movie story is completed each month. Furthermore, Sanrio characters, including the original character "BUDDYEDDY," who appears in "Sanrio English Master," act as film staff. By experiencing the process of authentic filmmaking, such as auditions and dubbing, as actors, children can acquire not only English conversation skills but also the "power to create their own future," such as "self-reliance," "co-creation," and "imagination."

What is "Sanrio English Master"?

Sanrio, which has valued communication for over 60 years with the corporate philosophy of "Everyone Gets Along," is developing an educational business that incorporates "edutainment," combining it with entertainment education.
