Initiating Convenience Improvements Alongside Bus Route Reorganization

In Okayama City, to ensure the stable provision of highly convenient public transportation in the future, bus routes that overlap are being reorganized to improve operational efficiency. Furthermore, the surplus capacity generated is being utilized to introduce "FLAt," a feeder bus service operating within local residential areas.

This project, starting April 1st, aims to realize a public transportation environment that is easy to understand and highly convenient for users (residents and visitors) by integrating operational information that was previously dispersed among different bus operators.

Utilizing GTFS Data

YE DIGITAL has supported various bus operators in preparing GTFS data, a widely used standard format for public transportation, and has provided an integrated proximity information system that leverages GTFS data.

**<Overview of Integrated Proximity Information System Functions>* ** This system collects and integrates data from eight bus operators, displaying bus operation information collectively on smart bus stops and smartphones.

* - Provides real-time bus location information (Dynamic General Transit Feed Specification - GTFS-RT). * - Provides information on the next bus based on the timetable (Static General Transit Feed Specification - GTFS-JP).

*This system is a preliminary introduction of the integrated bus proximity information system "BusOne," scheduled for release in April 2026.
