Since its first event in 2007, this event has been held annually with a different theme, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenery of a vast flower field overlooking Yokohama Port. It has become a beloved 'Yokohama spring tradition' for people of all ages. This year, marking the 20th anniversary, the theme is 'Take a Break,' expressing gratitude to all visitors and offering a moment to 'take a breather' away from daily life. Through a new experience of not just 'seeing flowers' but 'spending time with flowers,' we have prepared a space where people of all ages can comfortably engage in 'self-care.' The venue features approximately 20,000 plants of 36 varieties of flowers blooming across an area of about 1,200 square meters. To help you relax and take a breather, the colors of the flower fields have been chosen based on the principles of flower color therapy. Furthermore, elements that evoke a sense of 'hometown,' filled with the vitality of flowers and a feeling of nostalgia and warmth, are scattered throughout. We welcome everyone with the hope that lying down and looking up at the blue sky, enjoying conversations with loved ones, or children playing freely will all become a comfortable and personal 'Break = a moment of rest' in your own way.

Flower Color Therapy In line with the theme 'Take a Break,' the venue features spring flowers blooming based on six colors derived from flower color therapy. These colors are associated with the three elements of relaxation: purple for 'Imagination' (psychological element), yellow and white for 'Pure' (environmental element), and pink for 'Love' (physical element).
