YUIME Inc. Announces New Management Structure

YUIME Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kohei Ueno; hereinafter 'YUIME') announced its decision to establish a new management structure. This move is aimed at strengthening its management foundation and enhancing its governance system, with a view to executing mid-to-long term growth strategies and responding to future capital market demands.

Under its vision of 'Updating Japan's primary industries to world-class industries,' YUIME is tackling structural challenges in Japanese agriculture. To achieve this mission, the company is rapidly growing its agricultural employment support business, targeting both foreign and Japanese talent.

The establishment of this new management structure aims to balance sustained business growth with the transparency and discipline required by capital markets.

Background for the New Management Structure: The environment surrounding Japan's primary industries is undergoing complex and structural changes, including an aging workforce, chronic labor shortages, challenges to the sustainability of regional industries, and increasing institutional and social demands regarding the utilization of foreign talent.

YUIME has expanded its operations from the field, establishing a busy season dispatch model primarily for specific skilled foreign workers, fostering and supporting the employment of Japanese core personnel, and building mid-to-long term partnerships with agricultural corporations and regional businesses.

Moving forward, as the company expands its business domains, develops nationwide operations, and enhances group management, establishing a system capable of more sophisticated management decisions and accountability has become indispensable.

Recognizing this, YUIME is building a new management structure to strengthen its management foundation and maximize corporate value over the mid-to-long term.

Outside Director David Snoddy Founder and Managing Partner of Nezu Asia Capital Limited. First came to Japan in 1988 as an exchange student at Sophia University while attending Harvard University. Graduated top of his class from Harvard University in 1991. After graduation, he joined SG Warburg in Tokyo as a junior equity analyst. He subsequently served as a Japanese small- and mid-cap fund manager at Columbia Wanger Asset Management, Tokyo office representative at Soros Fund Management, Managing Director of the Tokyo office at Tiger Management, and Chief Investment Advisor at Speedwell Advisors, engaging in Japanese equity investment for over 30 years. Appointed YUIME Outside Director in August 2025. Author of 'Shareholder Care: Turning Investors into Fans' (Ascom).

Outside Director Hiroto Sorita Director, Investment Group, Global Brain Corporation. After graduating from Hosei University, he earned a Master's degree in Development Studies from the University of Manchester, UK. He worked in automotive-related business for Africa at Toyota Tsusho Corporation, including a posting to the regional headquarters in South Africa. Joined Global Brain, an independent venture capital firm, in 2021. He leads investments in emerging market startups, primarily in Africa, and is deeply involved in the growth strategies and governance building of portfolio companies. For YUIME, he led Series A and B funding rounds as a lead investor and will be appointed as an Outside Director in August 2025. He also serves as an Outside Director for HAKKI GROUP Inc.

Auditor Noriki Yoshimura Ueno & Yoshimura Law Office. Passed the bar examination in 1989, completed legal training at the Supreme Court Judicial Research and Training Institute in 1992, and registered as a lawyer. Joined Ono Sogo Law Office. Subsequently, opened Ueno & Yoshimura Law Office in 2019. Has served as an Auditor for Daito Koun Co., Ltd. (Securities Code: 9367) since 2015. Appointed YUIME Auditor in September 2025.
