AISE International Exchange Center, operated by Zenken Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Junnosuke Hayashi; hereinafter referred to as Zenken), has issued its latest brochure containing the recruitment guidelines for the 2027 departure "American High School Exchange Program." The recruitment officially began in June, targeting educators promoting global education in junior high and high schools, as well as students and parents considering overseas study or college.
AISE International Exchange Center is an exchange program organization that dispatches Japanese students to public and private junior high and high schools in countries such as the United States and Canada. It offers services beyond the traditional exchange program framework, including a "Regional Request System," generous scholarships and grants totaling up to several hundred thousand yen, and an online medical consultation service that allows students to consult with doctors in Japanese 24/7 for any physical or mental health concerns during their stay. These services provide robust support for a safe and rewarding study abroad experience.
"5 Features" of the 2027 AISE American High School Exchange Program
1. System to Request Desired Region
While it is generally not possible to choose your placement in traditional exchange programs, AISE International Exchange Center allows you to specify a state or metropolitan area for an additional fee. This enables students to study in a region that aligns with their individual preferences.
2. 24-Hour Support! Free Online Medical Consultation Service "Ryugaku Doctor Pass"
We provide free, reassuring medical consultation support, allowing you to consult with a doctor online in Japanese anytime during your study abroad. You can easily receive advice from specialists 24/7 for any physical or mental health issues or concerns that may not be covered by overseas travel insurance.
3. Test Your Abilities with Zero Risk! "Free Trial Screening"
To alleviate concerns such as "Will my current English level be sufficient?" or "Will the cost be wasted if I'm not accepted?", we have introduced a system that allows you to take a screening test (including an English test) identical to the actual one, free of charge. You can decide whether to formally apply after seeing the results, allowing you to take the first step with peace of mind and no risk.
4. Abundant "Scholarship and Grant Programs" to Support Your Challenge
● Scholarship System: 250,000 yen awarded to those recognized as exemplary.
● English Proficiency Scholarship System: 30,000 yen awarded to those who can demonstrate high English proficiency (for participants not attending the study abroad preparation seminar).
● Early Application Completion Grant System: 50,000 yen awarded to those who submit their study abroad application documents by January 13, 2027 (for participants attending the study abroad preparation seminar only).
5. Generous "Designated High School Subsidy System"
Students enrolled in designated high schools (with proven track records) that are actively involved in international exchange and English education will receive a subsidy of 50,000 yen. Please inquire for the latest list of designated high schools.
Event Information
We will be holding sequential "Online Information Sessions" to explain the program overview, costs, and application procedures, as well as "Mock English Proficiency Tests" which are essential for studying abroad.
