Zeon Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tetsuya Toyoshima; hereinafter referred to as "Zeon") has been selected for the first time as a constituent of three ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investment indices: the "FTSE4Good Index Series," the "FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index," and the "FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index."

These three indices are ESG investment indices provided by FTSE Russell, a global index provider, and are designed to measure the performance of companies that demonstrate excellent ESG responsiveness. In particular, the "FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index" and the "FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index" are representative indices adopted by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) as benchmarks for ESG investment. The "FTSE4Good Index Series" is an internationally widely used ESG investment index targeting major global companies.

FTSE Russell's ESG evaluation comprehensively assesses companies' ESG initiatives from multiple perspectives, including climate change response, reduction of environmental impact, supply chain management, human rights, occupational health and safety, corporate governance, and anti-corruption.

Under its corporate philosophy, "Contribute to the eternal prosperity of the earth and the prosperity of humankind," Zeon promotes sustainability management, and recognizes this selection as an evaluation of these efforts. Zeon will continue to strive to solve social issues through its business activities and improve its corporate value in the medium to long term.
