ZEP Introduces "ZEP QUIZ" to Himeji City's Learning Platform

Himeji City is promoting the development of an educational environment utilizing digital technology as part of its smart city initiative. On January 27, 2025, the city launched an online learning platform for junior high school students using the 2D metaverse "ZEP (※1)".

The learning environment utilizing the metaverse space offers a new educational experience where students can interact online and participate in learning activities. The introduction of ZEP QUIZ aims to further expand real-time participatory learning content within the metaverse learning environment.

ZEP QUIZ is a gamified learning service that combines quizzes with game elements.

Administrators can easily create questions, and participants can join quizzes in real-time. In addition to AI-powered question generation and multi-language translation features, it also provides a board function where participants can share opinions and answers with each other.
